The Improvised Vehicle in Northern Luzon called "Kuliglig"

"Kuliglig" is an improvised vehicle composed of two-wheeled tractor on front and two-wheeled trailer at the end. The concept of this was derived from the original "kuliglig" or tractor designed and used in cultivation of ricefields. This vehicle was popular in Northern Luzon especially in town where means of transportation is difficult.

Kuliglig is powered by multi-purpose diesel or gasoline engine that can be use in different ways especially by farmers. It can be used as means of transportation, as tractor in ricefields, it can be adapt to a pump for irrigation of farmlands and fishponds, and can be adapt in grindstone as grinding machine.

Kuliglig in Northern Luzon is different from Kuliglig in Metro Manila, the later is an improvised motorized pedicab that is popular in city of Manila.
