The Guinness World Records holder for "largest fruit shortcake" was made by various bakers in conjunction with the Municipality of La Trinidad, Benguet Province, Philippines on March 20, 2004. The largest short shortcake is a strawberry shortcake weighing 9,662.23 kg (21,213.40 lb) presented during the celebration of La Trinidad Strawberry Festival in Benguet. La Trinidad is a famous tourist attractions in North Luzon because of its strawberry farm and usually included as a side trip when tourist visit Baguio City.
