World's Shortest Living Man: Junrey Balawing of Philippines

Junrey Balawing from Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte, Philippines is currently holds the world's shortest living man. It was declared by Guinness World Records on his 18th birthday celebration. Junrey measures 59.93 m (23.5 in) tall as verified by Sindangan Helath Centre in Zamboanga del Norte  on June 12, 2011

Junrey broke the record of shortest man living Khagendra Thapa Magar of Nepal who is 0.67 m (2ft 2 1/3 in) tall. Historical record from Guinness shows that Junrey is the second shortest man in history after Gul Mohammed of India who was 0.571 m (1 ft 10 2/5 in) tall who died on October 1, 1997.
