Vulcan Point in Taal Volcano

Only in the Philippines, you will find the world's largest island within a lake (crater lake of Taal Volcano) inside the island (Taal Volcano) inside the lake (Taal Lake) within the island (Luzon Island). Vulcan Point, about 40 meters in diameter was incuded the Guinness World Record for this category which is unique in the Philippines.


In short it can be stated by this line..."the largest island in a lake of an island in a lake of an island". Taal Volcano is popular tourist destinations in Philippines located in Batangas province in Luzon Island.

World's Largest Shot Slam

The largest shot slam in the world was achieved in Naga City, Camarines Sur, Philippines on 27th of December 2010 with 2,435 people which broke the previous Guinness World Records of 1412 participants in Mexico. The participants is composed of mixed gender and age. The activity was sponsored by Ginebra San Miguel Inc. and GSM V. Distributors Inc.

Largest March Against Illegal Drugs

On March 21, 2009, the Philippines was listed in Guinness World Records for having the largest march against illegal drugs, the participants came from public school students accompanied by their parents. They called it "Grand BIDA March", BIDA stands for "Batang Iwas Droga", a massive information campaign launched in 2003 by PAGCOR Chairman Efraim C. Genuino to educate children between 6 and 12 years old on the dangers of substance abuse.

The activity was organized by the BIDA Foundation through the support of Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) with assistance of Department of Education (DepEd), DDB-PDEA, (NGO's), several government agencies, and various local governement units led by Mayor Alfredo Lim.

Most Different Dishes on Display

Kraft Food Philippines broke the previous Guinness World Records from India for having most different dishes on display. The display of 5,845 was presented at Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City, Philippines on December 14, 2009. 

Kraft Food Philippines in behalf of Eden Cheese and Magsaysay Institute of Hospitality and Culinary Arts (MIHCA) presented cheese-infused dishes for breakfast to midnight snacks.

Largest ten commandments tablet

The largest ten commandments tablet was presented to Guinness World Records at HalleluYAH Prayer Mountain For All Nations in San Mateo, Rizal, Philippines on April 11, 2009. The tablet measured 65.04 square meters (700.08 square ft), organized by Sister Grace Galindez-Gupana, a businesswoman and founder of  the HalleluYAH Prophetic Global Foundation. The tablet is located on top of HalleluYAH Prayer Mountain and can be seen from the road.


The presentation to Guinness World Records is not only for "largest ten commandments tablet" but also with the "largest flag draped". The flag of Israel and Philippines laid on the ground as symbol of Philippines recognition to Israel. Two world records was accomplished by Sister Grace that time but on October 10, 2010, her record for largest flag draped was broke by Ashraf Makarem in association with the Lebanese Army & Khaled Othman, in Rayak, Lebanon.
